Da Capo Choir

The choir is open to all boys and girls in grades 3-5. We warm-up our bodies, as well as our voices before we sing. Singing is an athletic event and requires energy! The choir is learning to read choral music, increase breath control, and becoming more independent in part-singing.

Da Capo Choir is performing
Pirates! The Musical

Highland students in grades 3-5 will have an opportunity to perform this fall in a musical, Pirates! The Musical by John Jacobson and Roger Emerson.

“We’re off to sail the rollicking sea, pirates all are we!” But, Arrrrr! and Shiver me timbers! There’s a stowaway on board! Perhaps the King of the High C’s will know what to do.” Join the salty crew of colorful scallywags when Bluebeard, Yellowbeard, Whitebeard, Purplebeard- well, you get the picture – along with No Beards, hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail for a mighty adventure!

Pirates! The Musical will be open to students in Grades 3-5.

There are about 20 speaking parts, 2-3 solo singing parts, and a chorus of 100.
